On Holy Thursday we held a Stations of the Cross Liturgy.

Weekly Tasks - Term 1, Week 8

Here are this week's tasks. Remember it is Easter this weekend, so there is no school on this Friday, or on Monday or Tuesday next week.

Bubble Shop!

We started off our Money, Money, Money unit by setting up a shop to sell bubble mixture and equipment. Students had to work in groups to create the biggest bubble. However, one group was 'sold' faulty bubble mixture, which prompted a discussion on consumer rights - one of the key ideas in the unit.

Weekly Tasks - Term 1, Week 7

Here are this week's tasks. The Camp/EOTC recount is your first priority. It will take a long time, so you will definitely have to work on it at home and at school. Do all the text first, before you start inserting photos. Good luck!

OPC Camp!

The Year 8s returned from camp on Friday night after spending all of last week at the Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Tongariro. They participated in many challenging activities including a high ropes course, kayaking on Lake Taupo, and an epic journey tubing down a river, crawling though caves and eventually camping outside under the stars. The students coped extremely well, became closer as a group and had a lot of fun.

Dodgeball

The dodgeball rivalry between Room 11 & Room 12 is particularly intense this year, with two evenly matched teams. Here are a couple of pictures of today's game.

There won't be any tasks next week because the Year 8s will be at OPC Camp and the Year 7s have EOTC Week.
