Remember there is an OPC Camp meeting tomorrow (Tuesday 15 March) for both Year 7 & 8 parents. Come and see some photos and hear what the Year 8s got up to at OPC. It's also a chance for the Year 7 parents to get a fundraising group organised for next year's camp. The meeting is at 6.30pm in the library.

EOTC Week

While the Year 8s were at camp, the Year 7s had an awesome week full of EOTC (Education Outside the Classroom) experiences. These included sailing on Wellington Harbour, making computer games and a TV news broadcast at Capital E, a day of kayaking, campfire cooking and orienteering at Kaitoke Park, and walking up Mt Kaukau.

OPC Camp 2014

The Year 8 students had an amazing week at the Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Tongariro. The weather was fantastic and all the students pushed themselves to complete some challenging activities such as caving, abseiling, canoeing, high ropes and camping out overnight in tents.

More photos in web album below. We now have photos from all the groups. Students - if you want copies of the photos, bring a USB stick in and copy them off the server.

Dodgeball!

The ongoing dodgeball competition between Rooms 11 & 12 is often a highlight of life in the Kauri Syndicate. The competition this year is already intense, with Room 11 taking the early lead this term.
