This is the last week of our Book Group discussions. Each group has been reading a novel and meeting twice a week to discuss it. Groups that have been focused and having thoughtful discussions have been able to 'unlock crackers' - in other words, bring in snacks to share while discussing their books.
Students - for your meeting on Thursday, identify some 'critical scenes' to discuss.
Today the students got to work in groups to solve all kinds of hands-on maths problems as part of the World of Maths show. It was great to see them focused and engaged with the tasks and using their problem-solving skills successfully.
Today we held the school cross-country at Grenada North. Well done to everyone who made it to the end of the muddy, hilly course.
Congratulations to Ethan, Olivia, Matt and Xara who won the Year 7 & 8 races.
Here are this week's tasks. Remember your sports gear, a change of shoes and some plastic bags for Cross Country on Tuesday. Weekly Tasks - Term 2, Week 2
