Aztec Minecraft

Over the last few weeks, students have been recreating the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan. The city was built on a low-lying island on a shallow lake and was connected to the mainland by causeways. An aquaduct carried fresh water from the mainland to the city.

Showtime!

We had lots of visitors for the art exhibition and everyone really appreciated all the awesome artwork that has been created. The astronaut, X-wing and R2D2 were definitely favourites!

Exhibition day!

The exhibition is tonight and we are finally ready!

We had another busy day today finishing off last minute jobs. 

Attaching the guns.

Realising we need 4 boosters at the back, not 2.

Prayer time including an X-wing and an astronaut. Turns out that X-wing is crazy big.

We used wire to tie the astronaut to the light fittings.

Final days

The art exhibition is tomorrow night and unsurprisingly we are not quite ready. However we are getting really close!
