Weekly Tasks - Term 1, Week 11

Here is the final task sheet for Term 1. Make sure you get everything finished before morning tea on Friday because we are going to do some fun superhero reward activities after that.

Comic books

All the students in Room 11 & 12 have been working very hard on creating their own comic books over the past few weeks.  We have learned about writing stories with a problem and solution, and telling them using comic book conventions such as different shots & angles, different types of speech bubble, and a range of box shapes and sizes. They are looking fantastic!

Weekly Tasks - Term 1, Week 10

Here are this week's tasks. You have two group tasks that will need to be mostly done at school, so make sure you work on some of the other activities at home, early in the week.

Swimming at Kilbirnie

Every Friday in Term 1, we have swimming lessons at the Kilbirnie Aquatic Centre. The Year 7 & 8 students who are already good swimmers get a choice of kayaking, diving or snorkelling lessons.
