Minecraft Parliament: The Return

Today the 12 students from the Minecraft project returned to Parliament to present their work to the Parliament and Microsoft people, plus lots of news media. They did a great job with their building and with their presentation and got lots of positive feedback.

Thanks also to the students who weren't in the official group, but who helped finish off the building last week when time was running out.

Art Exhibition

The art exhibition was last night and we managed to get everything finished just in time!

The Great White Dragon

Painting begins.

Painting the background for the Parable of the Sower art.

The Minecraft Parliament project continues despite art-related chaos all around.

Parliament trip

On Wednesday Room 11 & 12 went to Parliament for a visit tied in with our current study on Parliament and Elections.  We had a really good trip, saw lots of interesting things and even got a quick visit to a Minister's office in the Beehive, thanks to Rosie's mum.
