Measurement
We have been learning about measurement in maths for the last couple of weeks. Here are a few students deriving pi by working out the relationship between the circumference and the diameter of various circles around the classroom. (Spoiler: the circumference is always pi times bigger!)
By the way those students that are obsessively memorising pi to crazy amounts of digits might like to watch this video: Mile of Pi

Speech Marking Guide
Hi guys. This is my first blog post and it is an important one! Here is the Speech Marking Guide. It is important because it is how we are marking your speech and it is how you will mark 1 or 2 of your class mates speeches. Read over it and refer back to it before your speech. We will also go over it in class on Friday the 14th.
Speech Marking Guide
Give a copy to the person who is listening to your speech at home and see if you are getting marks in all of the boxes. If, for example you don't make eye contact you will lose 5 marks in the presentation category.
