Mission Fair

The Year 6, 7 & 8 students did an amazing job running the Mission Fair last Thursday. They had to run a stall either selling items or running activites. We raised about $2200 for Caritas to be used in Cambodia and Fiji.

Here are the tasks for Term 1, Week 10. There are some easier tasks this week so you can recover from your epic recounts!

Sand & Salt

Last week as part of our Chemistry unit, students were challenged to come up with a method to separate a mixture of sand and salt. Most groups managed to figure out that they could add water to dissolve the salt, separate off the sand by draining with filter paper, then boil the water to leave the salt residue.
