Rugby World Cup

On the 9th of September, the 2011 Rugby World Cup officially began and everyone in our class was superly-super psyched!! The opening ceremony was outstanding featuring the history of New Zealand. It was followed by the opening match between the All Blacks vs. Tonga.

At our school, each class were given a country that was participating in the competition. Our class (the best class ever) was given the great country of Wales. We Welshified the classroom with paper chains using green, red and white paper. There is also a giant Welsh flag on the wall and ‘Wales’ in big letters on the windows with Welsh Dragons on either side. Some of the boys built a replica of a castle in Wales which was so awesome. Sadly, it was destroyed when we took it outside to show everyone in the school.
