Science Fair info

Hi all - I forgot to hand out the Science Fair note today, so here it is in case you want to get started over the holidays:

Our school Science Fair will be held in Week 9 of Term 2. You may want to start thinking about your science fair topic during the holidays. You will need to tell us your topic early in Term 2.

Things to remember:

-       choose a topic you are interested in

-       make sure your investigation includes a question that you can answer by doing a test (not just research)

-       there is lots of useful information about the Wellington Science Fair on the official website: www.sciencefair.org.nz

-       check out the list of prizes on the website  - it might help you think of a topic

-    the top ten school projects will go through the the Wellington Science Fair

Here's a picture of Anastasia's winning project from last year to inspire you:

Try to avoid the situation below and don't leave it all til the last minute! Choose something achievable that you are actually interested in.
